The Ghost of
The Harvest Madonna

by Craig Perez

Every people, every age has its favorite woman character. The upstairs rooms are haunted primarily by a female ghost. Madonna countered this by saying the performance was designed to shift the focus a bit (understatement duly noted) from pruning to blending the sweet product of His abundant harvest. Madonna and the boy are fighting because the boy is kicking her ass in Scrabble.
