For the writers who submit their work to us, and to the readers who follow us, we offer an apology. It was not our intention to be gone for so long without a word of explanation. Some health and emotional problems prevented us from really giving a damn about the magazine until recently. Now we feel better, and having assured ourselves that it is once again possible to give a damn, and even be excited about small presses and the online literary scene, we’ve returned with the current issue.
Some of you may not feel so wonderful about this, as you are hard-working writer people who have submitted and did not hear back from Rumble Magazine until recently. If you feel super-bad about this, and don’t want to submit again, we understand. We now officially say ‘please’ and extend an invitation to submit again, if you can possibly stand to.
