rumble

tenth issue :: August / September

Anna Maria keeps a secret journal by Miriam N. Kotzin and Bill Turner
This dark but strongly written tale was a strong favorite with the rumble editors. Written by two who've graced these pages before, it will not disappoint...check the archives for previously published works by both of these writers.

Jupiter, Uranus by Dorothee Lang
A short but striking piece. Kind of a mind-stream as it were. Evocative. It will grow on you if you give it a chance. By the publisher of the new

Blue Print Review.

3 Models by Phil Vas
Another strong, cutting story by Phil, whose Stray Cat Blues made such a strong impression in the April/May 05 issue.

First Day by Jocelyn Johnson
Something about this one made us take another look, and we liked what we saw. From the author of Job Well Done, published in the February/March 05 issue.

Pompeii by Ruk Sak
A quirky story that creates some interesting mental and emotional images in your mind; at least it did in ours. Why not read it and decide for yourself? By a first time rumble author.

Little Things to Get By by Scott Fraser
Hard to classify, this piece is a take on modern life and the workplace. Again, creates some interesting mental images, and perhaps some of you can identify with the main character. Scott's first story in rumble.

how we break by Ginny Egleston
Our poetry contribution for this issue. A mix of violent emotional messages, interweaving thoughts and mental upheaval. We like it. A challenge to format in

HTML as well. Peek at the code and see how we did it!

Laura by Hardy Wilson
Nicely composed portrait, strong values. This one caught our eye right away. Hardy's first art contribution, but hopefully not his last!
