"Remember the tooth!" Yueh hissed. "The tooth!"
—excerpt from Dune by Frank Herbert
Why did Dr. Yueh want the Duke Leto Atreides to remember the tooth? Because it was a false tooth, and full of deadly poison.
This is the archived version of the September issue of rumble and welcome to it. You can find the current issue here. This month we feature a range of diverse works by some very talented people. We hope you like the issue. Remember to check out the author links on the bio page. Many of these lead to other works published on the web.
The new issue brings some changes to the rumble editorial staff. Eric Williams is stepping down as editor to be replaced by Perry McGee, a writer whose horror fiction is well known on the web and whose story Hitting Bottom in Mid Air appeared in our first issue. Eric was a good editor and will be missed, but we expect Perry to be an excellent fit for our e-zine.
We didn't forget about the music. Here's a link to this issue's theme song. We're totally all about the music. Totally. Let us know if you have any problems with the link. We're working on getting some mp3 storage space of our own.
I still haven't finished the .PDF versions but I'm working on them and hope to have them up pretty soon. So, hey, that's about it. Enjoy the goodies. Have a great day. Submit to rumble. Help old ladies across the street. Listen to The Ramones every day and be sure to vote Democratic.
