rumble

fourth issue :: October 2004

Cosmetically Speaking by Silas Grey
A woman hides inside her own mind and spins poetic while the world revolves around her. Intriguing fiction.

The Fever by Julie Ann Shapiro
Unusual flash piece about love and disease and everything in between. I think you'll enjoy this one, I really do.

Pliers by Andy Henion
Raw, short, and violent, but very much under control. No wasted words in this one.

Food Court by Yvonne Chism-Peace
Sometimes you read something and you don't know why you like it but you like it anyway.

The Bridesmaid by Charles Richard Lang
Pared to the bone, this one's got the one two punch you can't resist. Remember, don't throw rice 'cause it swells up in pigeon's stomachs and makes them explode.

One more night at the hospital by Walt Hutton
A different kind of poem but one I think you'll enjoy. I've read it five or six times already and I'm not sick of it. That is high praise for poetry, in my book.

A taste for oblivion by Ilona Al-Ansari
Strange and dark artwork from a first time contributor...check it out.
