ninth issue :: June / July
Dress for Asabe by Joe Zorzi
A brief but haunting look at how dark life can be for most of the people on this planet. A gripping realistic tale by a first time rumble author.
Tromping in Fashion by Fisher Thompson
Scattered and absurd but with brillant shining moments, this micro twists sentences into
new and frightening shapes. It could kill, in the wrong hands. Bet you'll like it though.
CONSPIRACY by Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal
Edgy story of a disturbed mind spiraling into darkness. Insightful and sharp as a razor, this well-written micro is by the author of the Absent Husband series.
How To Cheat (on your wife) by LaTanya McQueen
This is what we like to see: Strong writing that packs a punch and crams it all into an
itty bitty package ready for consumption. You can't take your eyes off it.
Mermaid by Michael Hartford
This ultra-short story is by a first time rumble author whose brought us a sweet little
tale of trust and innocence that grabs and holds you. We likey.
To My Understanding by Michael Martin
Our poetry contribution for this issue. Hard to categorize, this one has some
bold wordplay that will keep your attention. Why don't you just read it and make up
your own mind.
Two Shadows by Michael Hartford
Michael breaks into rumble with Mermaid and this excellent photo as our
art piece for this month. The guy is like freaking multi-talented or something.
