This is an archived issue. The current is is here
This is the seventh issue of rumble and it's a bit late, as you may have noticed. The reasons for this are varied, mostly having to do with the fact that humans continually fail to achieve the cold precision of machines, a general characteristic of the race which is at times frustrating but, amazingly enough, is also responsible for much of what makes life interesting.
Our apologies if your life personally is as boring as spit.
We have, at long last, updated our submissions page. We have been meaning to do this for a long time but have not gotten around to it. We do apologize. We have also added some new links. Check them out when you have finished reading the new issue.
This issue features some great micro-fiction by new writers, and some alumni have returned to contribute their unique flavor to our little e-zine. We'd like to thank all the people who have submitted their writing, and continue to submit. We know you work hard at your craft and believe us when we say that we sweat over the line-up almost as hard. You're the ones who make this site possible.
A few resources for you: Residing in the rumble tree is Stephen King's article; Everything you need to know about Writing: In Ten Minutes. New to the web is Ta-Da Lists, a free online listmaker that's easy to use and link to your blog or website. Another cool resource is the Generator Blog, with links to a million online generators of all types.
Finally, the death of gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson made big waves this week on the web. Here's a link to a video interview he did on the Democracy Now! website.
Well that's about it. Enjoy the show.
