Welcome to the eighth issue of rumble, the little e-zine that could.
June 21 Update: As of June 29 rumble will be moving to a new location on the web. I'm going to try to contact all published authors and let them know so they can update links to their online stories. After June 29 you will have to visit my site for updates so please bookmark the link. Hopefully all pages will be relocated by the time the next issue goes online in early July.
June 3 Update: Sorry we've been offline so long, but there was trouble with the hosting and I couldn't correct the problem right away. Everything should be straightened out now but if you notice a problem please e-mail me and we'll look into it.
We're kind of rushed today but hoping we can get the issue up; everybody's waited long enough for it. The new issue was a tough one to put together because there were so many worthy submissions to consider. We could have pulled together another issue from some of the stories that bite the dust, and maybe we should have. So we think this one is a winner and we hope you agree. Keep those submissions coming in, people. We're always open and we wanna see what you can do.
Breaking a bit from tradition we published two poems this month because we got tired of trying to decide between them. And we also hope to get some visitors and comments from Northside College Preparatory High school, where one of our youngest authors is attending. Let's hear from you guys! You can e-mail us at headsfromspace @ yahoo dot com.
Site news: We've added a link to Great Writing on our links page. It's a new interactive writing site in England where you can post stories and get feedback, as well as read articles and interact on the forum. A nice site design and features makes this a must-visit site. As our first anniversary issue approaches, we're playing with the idea of putting together a "Best of Rumble" e-book for your reading pleasure. Previously published rumble authors will be hearing from us in the near future if the project gets off the ground.
Well that about wraps it up for now. We'll be updating this page in the near future I think, but we wanted to get the issue online without delay. Enjoy!
