eighth issue :: April / May

Across The Street by Sara Bailey
Eerie micro in the vein of stand by me. Excellent description of an incident involving three girls and the house of a murderer.

My Favorite Book by Alby Heredia
An air of the continental overhangs this half-tragic, half-comedic tale of a young woman who hopes but is not easily taken in.

Stray Cat Blues by Phil Vas
What it takes thrive and survive in the deathglow of fame is too much for young protagonist in this brief, concise tale from the edge. Great story.

Waterlogged Innocence by Kelli Dunlap
Straight out cutting edge horror micro from the wind-swept Great Lakes by the webmistress of The Horror Web.

Sam by Memphis Saltos
A charming short story of innocence and friendship, this one really got to me for reasons I just can't explain. Hope you like it as much as I did.

The Observer by Minhal Baig
One of two poems this month which caught our eye here at rumble. Interesting verse by perhaps the youngest writer we've ever published.

Tucson at the Solstice by Gordon Moyer
Brief but well-written poem by this first time contributor; if you don't like it we'll give you a million billion dollars. But you will.

Brain 3-b by Donald Kidd
