Welcome to the thirteenth issue of rumble.
Talented newcomers Samuel Clark, Daniel Tricarico, H. Kim Lee, and Wayne Scheer contributed stories for this issue, and veteran Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal returns with a short short entitled The Kindness of Strangers. Kathryn Dawes and Corey Mesler contributed poems worthy of your time.
Have you visited Girls Are Pretty?. It's a kind of micro fiction weblog that features high-quality writing. Go there and envy them.
A certain editor who we will not name has been spending a fair amount of time at the Zygote in my coffee message board. Lots of enthusiastic poets there. Take a moment and read the latest issue if you love hardcore poetry. They worship Bukowski like a god.
In the fast-paced die young, stay pretty world of online literature, 13 issues are a fair amount, and we're happy to have survived this long. The last reading period saw the most submissions ever. Keep sending them in! We read EVERY SINGLE WORD of them and our rejections letters are gentle and never form-like.
Reviews: Just a reminder that we do occasionally review books. We've published two reviews so far. Contact us to find out how you can have your book reviewed at rumble.
We've run out of words for now. But here's a little musical number that emphasizes the fact that as far as micro fiction goes, no one can touch us.
